One of the interesting aspects of the American culture is its obssession to sports.We make the sports stars very rich by idolizing them.Our pro sports team is important for us to be winning. We even place a lot of emphasis on the sports our children play.  So much so that sometimes it gets out of hand.

I have noticed this trend running a family therapist San Diego service.These games will sometimes get out of hand due to teenagers and parents putting so much stress on it.It will not happen all the time but the thing is it still does happen.Counseling is really needed in those instances.

I have witnessed this a lot of times when parents get stressed so much by watching their kids succeed in sports that they themselves will need a counselor.  I have a lot of parents come into my sports psychologist San Diego office wanting too much out of their kids. A lot of stress and problems will be caused by this. This can sometimes cause strains in their relationships. So they will need help in resolving some family issues rather than needing help to succeed in sports.

Those are the times when some teenagers feel that they need help.  I help a lot of teens in my teen counseling San Diego work who can’t take the pressure it puts on them.It is already time to work also with the family if that happens.A lot of the problems will be solved through the help of some counselling sessions an advice.

These should be attended to immediately if it happens because these are extreme cases.  It is time to put a perspective on how important we make sports.  If we are able to do that we can make strained relationships loving once again.  But that is the key.  To attack it early and stop problems from getting worse.A happy and productive family will be the result of this.

Catering group ‘Compass’ says corporate hospitality spending cutbacks, job losses among clients and shorter working hours have its business extremely hard.
For the next financial year the company have predicted that they will only be making a mere 1% profit. The press release has had a real bad affect which has ultimately made their shares plummet by 7%. Profit has slowed down dramatically since the decline in the economy. In the UK alone, Compass’s customers include Asda and the Royal Mail. They also offer their wide range of services in another 55 countries.
Wedding caterers across the country have reported some sort of loss over the last financial year due to complete un-predictability of the economy. Private catering has definitely changed forever as the Compass group alone have said that they have seen its Business & Industry and Sports & Leisure units hit by the recession. Compass did say that it had a wide range of success with their education, defence and healthcare departments which is good.
Unfortunately, it is going to be the smaller industries such as catering which is affected by this slow down in the economy as bigger corporations will be looking to cut back on ‘un-needed’ expenses such as ‘work-dos’ or ‘private corporate entertainment’. Considering what kind of current economic trouble we have found ourselves in such things as going out for a lavish meal on the company is longer a possibility. Instead, companies are having to focus on keeping their businesses alive rather than spend out on un-necessary expenses. So, no more expensive, lavish meals for potential clients!
There have been some very small signs that the economy may be levelling out but it will be a long time yet until we will be able to see any improvement what so ever. Company budgets are unfortunately going to be extremely tight for the foreseeable future and the catering industry could still suffer during this very hard time indeed.
