Green tea is so good for you. Its very true. A researcher recently did a study that involved exposing hundreds of minnows to highly radioactive substances. Under normal circumstances they would have all died of cancer in days. But, instead they survived. What was the reason? Instead of water in their tank, they had green tea.
You may not like the fact that they hit little minnows with radioactive substances. Most people probably do not like this. But, you should like the results. This kind of news makes me want to bathe in green tea everyday or at least drink about a gallon or two a day.
More and more people are becoming aware of the restorative powers of green tea. Resulting in more and more products containing green tea are out now. Green tea infusions are even contained in coffee. Not to mention all the other green tea blends that are available in stores today.
However, there is an area that has not quite caught on yet. That would be in the arena of skin care. Manufacturers seem to be all talk and no action. What people aren’t aware of is that what makes green tea excellent for you body also makes it perfect for your skin.
Green tea is full of antioxidants. When you drink it, the antioxidants will do many things, like boosting your immune system. You will notice an immediate difference in your skin when rubbed on your face.
Your skin will love anti oxidants. Just for starters, they fight off free radicals. Free radicals are highly charged molecules in the air that “attack” skin and cause wrinkles. Occasionally, these free radicals have been known to damage skin so much that the cells will actually become cancerous.
Green tea skin care does more than you are aware of. Green tea extracts are used to help breathe new life into your skin. They ease both inflammations and discolorations that can be caused by the environment or by the wrong products. Add a green tea product to your skincare regimen today. Whether it is a lotion, a wrinkle cream, a serum or a spritzer, you will soon be glad that you made green tea a priority in your beauty regimen.
